Depending upon the applications, it is made with varied combinations of copper and zinc. In Brass Parts Components copper is more than 55 % and zinc is less than 45 %, but ratio is varies as per demand. To improve machinability of brass little amount of other metals are also added. Little amount of iron, tin, silicon, phosphorus and manganese are used to improve the characteristics of new metal. In order to get anti corrosive property of new formed metal, arsenic is added.
